2018 Science and Innovation Awards

Applications are now open for the 2018 Science and Innovation Awards for young people in Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.

If you are aged between 18 and 35 years, or you know someone who is, this is your chance to apply for a grant of up to $22,000 to fund your project on an innovative and emerging scientific issue that will benefit Australia's primary industries.

Rural Women's Awards

The Agrifutures Australia Rural Women's Awards is Australia's leading award which aim to acknowledge, support and reward the essential role women play in rural industries, businesses and communities.

This award provides a platform for to inspire Australian women to use and develop their skills to benefit their industries and communities.

The wards are open to women involved in rural industries, rural and regional businesses and rural and regional communities. Each state and territory winner receives a $10,000 bursary for innovative ideas and projects, access to professional development opportunities and alumni networks.

South Australian of the Year Awards

The Australian of the Year Awards provides all Australians with the opportunity to recognise someone who makes them proud.

The Awards Program is split into four categories;

  • Australian of the Year
  • Senior Australian of the Year (those aged 60+)
  • Young Australian of the Year ( those aged 16 to 30)
  • Australia's Local Hero
