Opportunities at the Murraylands Career Expo

Regional Development Australia Murraylands and Riverland (RDAMR) Inc. will be participating in the Murraylands Career Expo, which will be held at the Murray Bridge Basketball Stadium (Showgrounds) from 9:00am – 2:30pm on Friday the 13th May 2016.

Proudly supporting the event, RDAMR will have a stand at the event staffed with skilled practitioners from the Career Development Centre who will be on hand to provide advice, assistance and information on the various career opportunities available throughout the region.

With the need to support and create a strong regionally based workforce, RDAMR have invested in the establishment of a dedicated Career Development Centre to provide a range of services that support those looking for work and exploring their career options in the region. The Centre is proud and dedicated to providing resume and cover letter assistance, job and interview technique training and support in addition to a range of career and training planning.

Located in the RDAMR Murraylands office, at 137 Adelaide Road, Murray Bridge, the Career Development Centre also offers appointments in Mannum and Tailem Bend.

Taking part in the Murraylands Career Expo will enable participants to gain a strong understanding of the career opportunities available in the region, and the Centre is well placed to assist those who need to get ready to pursue such opportunities.

Chief Executive, Jo Podoliak stated that there are exceptional opportunities for individuals in the region if they are ready for work and willing to look.

“The region has a number of large employers who can provide pathways into a range of industries, including agriculture, food processing, small business and more. Many of these employers are committed to strong training and education plans, which ensures long term job satisfaction and growth, which is key to individuals and the region’s personal development.”

Those seeking career development assistance in the Murraylands region are encouraged to attend the Murraylands Career Expo or contact the CDC to make an appointment.
