Employment & Training

The DFEEST South Australia Works program reaches, engages and supports people who face barriers to learning, training and work through flexible and responsive initiatives that are tailored to the specific needs of individuals, communities, regions, industries and employers.

Networks will provide local labour market data and industry information to assist the development of more comprehensive regional profiles. The new regional profiles will identify local labour markets needs and priorities to drive the delivery of all South Australia Works services and programs.

South Australia Works in partnership with RDA Murraylands & Riverland will partner with  Networks, employers and local organisations to deliver Career Development Services and Targeted Projects in response to local labour market needs.

Career Development Services will operate in each region to support individuals to make sound career choices which respond to local labour demands. Career Development Services will encourage workforce participation by providing an entry point for people not participating in the labour market, unemployed people and jobseekers. Career Development Services will incorporate Skills Recognition Services to boost qualifications and enable local people to meet local skill shortages.
