The Department of Industry, Innovation and Science through XPotential are delivering this export readiness workshop for food and beverage manufacturers who are new to exporting, or already exporting and seeking a refresh on the fundamentals of building a sustainable value added business.

TOPICS INCLUDE:

  • How to view Export as part of your broader growth strategy?
  • Market prioritisation – where to enter?
  • Who is your target consumer?
  • How do you plan to position your brand(s) and products?
  • Channels & customers to target.
  • Market entry model options. 
  • What are your core competencies?
  • What does the value chain look like?
  • Government Support

WORKSHOP FORMAT:

Presentations followed by individual and group activities that leverage presenter and other participants’ knowledge and experience

YOU WILL RECEIVE;

A personalised Export Plan Template for your company, which will be made available to you via email at the conclusion of this workshop. BDC Market Intelligence have developed a self-diagnostic tool which will be delivered throughout the workshop, your answers to these questions will generate the plan. 

Mike Harley and Dermott Dowling of XPotential Australia New Zealand will deliver the workshop. Together they bring over 40 years leadership and international business experience in general management, business development, sales, marketing and innovation across food & beverage categories in Australasia, Asia, the middle East, Latin America and Europe.

Cost: The course is offered FREE of CHARGE to businesses that have gone through our program (Entrepreneurs’ Programme or Enterprise Connect) and in this case for businesses in the food industry. Cost for other businesses TBA.

There are limited seats (20) and at this stage no more than two representatives from any one business.
