Regional Wellbeing Survey
In 2013 the Murray Darling Futures Collaborative Research Network undertook a Regional Wellbeing survey.
The survey looked at the wellbeing of people living in rural and regional areas of Australia to better understand how different social, economic and environmental changes influenced wellbeing.
The survey will be repeated in successive years to track how and why wellbeing changes. For rural communities contributing factors could include drought, floods, new industries, changing land uses and migration of residents.
If you are interested in being notified when reports or papers that draw on the survey data are available, you can add your name to the mailing list on the University of Canberra website.
The results from our region are also available on the University of Canberra website, results by region page or you can download this pdf version.
